The mission of WellPetUSA is to raise awareness to prevent the abuse of animals in the USA or remove them from harmful environments all together. The WellPetUSA team cares about pet wellness and their needs. Making a pet well entails many things; it is a daunting, yet doable task. WellPetUSA provides fundraising and community pet education and welfare, to distribute funds to local and national organizations to assist in the health of animals. In 2008, WellPetUSA is focusing on building it's Meow Bow Wow Fund which raises and distributes funds to rescue groups and the general public to help offset medical costs. Part of Meow Bow Wow is a new initiative called Amber's Pets, named for WellPetUSA's founder Amber Pedraja who passed away this year of cancer. Amber's Pets will provide funds up to $2000 for a family or rescue group to treat a pet afflicted with cancer.
